Chinese Government and Agencies in the United StatesConsulate-General For a listing of Chinese consular members in the United States, refer to Diplomatic List. The Diplomatic List, of missions in the U.S., is prepared by the Office of Protocol. It contains the names of members of the diplomatic staffs of all missions and their spouses. Members of the diplomatic staff are the members of the staff of the mission having diplomatic rank. These persons, with the exception of those identified by asterisks, enjoy full immunity under provisions of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations. Consulate-General in Chicago In charge of nine districts: Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Miscount, and Wisconsin. Consulate-General in Houston In charge of eight districts: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, and Texas. Consulate-General in Los Angeles In charge of four districts: Arizona, Hawaii, New Mexico, and Southern California.
Consulate-General in New York In charge of ten districts: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
