Two accused in Freehold double slaying

A Freehold Borough man who was killed along with his sister during a home invasion was bound, held down and stabbed more than 50 times by one of his assailants.

Zhen Liang Chen, 20, of New York City, tied up Yao Chen and held him down while Dong Biao Lin, 24, also of New York City, stabbed him more than 50 times. He said Chen also used brass knuckles on Yao Chen.

The suspects killed Yao Chen, 39, and his sister Yun Juan Chen, 28, at their South Street home late Wednesday afternoon June

16 during a break-in, The victims are not related to Zeng Liang Chen.

Investigators have said Lin is a former employee at the family's Chinese restaurant in Freehold. Zeng Liang Chen is an undocumented immigrant with no known address. Zeng Liang Chen and Lin were arrested less than an hour after Yao Chen staggered out of his home, catching the attention of a passing motorist who called police.

They are charged with two counts of murder, two counts of felony murder, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, armed burglary and armed robbery. If convicted of the most serious offenses, they face life in prison with no parole. (Source: NJ.com, Jun 18, 2010).
