Taiwanese philanthropist wants normal life

Chen Shu-Chu, a 61-year-old Taiwanese vegetable seller, was named as one of the world's 100 most influential people of 2010 by Time Magazine for her charitable donations. She said Thursday May 6 that she will continue leading a simple life and being herself, despite the accolade.
Chen arrived in San Francisco earlier that same day from New York, where she attended a citation dinner hosted by Time Magazine Tuesday May 4. (Source: Focus Taiwan News Channel, May 7, 2010).
