The Reverend Mr Gao will give a general introduction to the Protestant church in China. The Reverend Jiajuan Bao, Associate General Secretary of the council, will outline the council's work in theological education, social service, and publications. Elder Ou Enlin, Deputy Director of the Overseas Relations Department of the Christian Council of China, will describe the challenges facing urban churches.

Other CCC officers participating are Ms. Gu Jingqin, Secretary of the Overseas Relations Department and Ms. Wang Xiuling, Chief of Protestantism Affairs Section, Second Department, State Administration on Religious Affairs.
