James Wang was born in 1924 in Wuxi, Jiangzu Province, China. He received his B.S. in civil engineering from Fu Dan University in Shanghai in 1947.
He came to the States for further studies in 1957. He received his MS in hydraulic engineering from Colorado State University in 1958, MS in structural engineering from University of Colorado in 1960, and Ph.D. in aerospace and mechanical engineering from New York Polytechnic University in 1972.
Dr. Wang has long experience in the field of engineering. He was group engineer at Martin Marietta Aerospace Baltimore Division, 1890-1989; contract engineer with Teledyne Brown Engineering, 1889-1990; Vice President, Hung Pang International Group, Maung Roong Limited, 1991-1994, and since 2006, he has been CEO and Chairman, Clean Access Inc.; CEO and Chairman, Pronto Environmental Services, Inc. ; and CEO and Chairman, Rapid Waste Removal, Inc.
He has been very active in social and political movement. He was underground activist against Japanese (1942-1948), a marshal to lead international youth parade (March 29, 1946), chairman of United Universities and High Schools committees in Shanghai (1946), president of Chinese Student Association in USA (1964-1992), executive secretary of the Chinese Culture, Inc. in USA (1965-1974), member of Advisory Committee of KMT (1981- ), vice chairman of National Chinese Heritage Committee of Republic Party in USA, (1981- ). .
Dr. Wang is a member of Phi Tau Phi Scholastic Honor Society, 1978- , and the One China Committee, 2004- .
He resides in Jericho, New York.
